Portland, OR – May 21, 2019, Blue Line Transportation a bulk commodities transportation and asphalt manufacturer, announces the hiring of Jack Dougherty as Director of Plant Operations.

Jack has over 45 years in the asphalt emulsion manufacturing industry. He has been involved in every aspect of production manufacturing and the building of emulsion plants. His previous positions include working as a Technical Support Manager for Telfer Pavement Technologies in Sacramento and Martinez, CA; Director of Operations for Alon Asphalt covering seven asphalt terminals in CA, NV, AZ, and WA; and General Manager of the emulsion and seal coating divisions for Reed and Graham, Inc. in San Jose and Sacramento, CA.

Dougherty will handle the daily operations of Blue Line’s manufacturing facilities. He will also provide technical and operational support to our customers.
Blue Line is a family owned and operated bulk commodities trucking company and manufacturer of liquid asphalt. Blue Line specializes in dust control and base stabilization transportation and application. They also haul jet fuel and AV Gas throughout Oregon and Washington.
