Earthbind® 100 Can Be Stored and Transported in Concentrate

Posted .

If you operate a road construction, road maintenance operation, or provide municipal services in rural locations, then you are likely aware of the need for maintaining unpaved roadbeds. This often also includes dust control measures to address safety and air quality concerns.

Unfortunately, water truck application can be costly in manhours, fuel, and possible water sourcing. At the same time, magnesium chloride and calcium chloride dust control agents face increasing scrutiny for their effects on the environment, safety concerns, and their propensity for drawing local wildlife to the treated roadbed.

To help address these serious concerns, EnviRoad® is proud to offer Earthbind® 100. It is based on a modified, non-corrosive biopolymer that can be transported and stored in its concentrated form.

Earthbind® 100 further helps reduce costs by forming a matrix between small particles and aggregate gravels in the unpaved roadbed. Once cured it will not be water soluble, thus allowing more of it to remain in the matrix throughout the season. It typically requires minimal reapplication and equipment maintenance. This can allow you to reallocate man hours and fuel to other important projects.
